Everything bowl with wild clay specks

Description

Everything bowls, I love using them for just about anything: breakfast oats, smoothie bowls, soup, dinner and even with a kenzan to hold a small flower arrangement.
Each bowl is wheel-thrown and gently altered with my thumb to create a subtle wave effect. The outside is unglazed, resulting in a pleasantly textured surface. It’s not as smooth as a glazed finish, but has a slightly raw quality, which, in my opinion adds to the tactile experience. To me, they invite touch and interaction.

• Height: 8,9 cm
• Diameter: between 16,6 and 17,1 cm
• Hold up to 600 ml
• All items are waterproof and dishwasher safe
• Materials: A stoneware clay and slip from locally sourced wild clay, with a white speckled based glaze on the inside
• Method: Wheel-thrown and altered at the rim with my thumbs, then fired to 1230°C in my kiln to ensure the clay is fully vitrified and durable.

The sizes mentioned are approximations, and there may be slight variations.
Keep in mind that all products are handmade. They will never be as machine-made ceramics. The charm of handmade items lies in the fact that you can literally see the creator in them, at least that’s what I believe.
